Stunning and vigorous climber suitable for a sheltered site preferably a fully sunny wall or fence, although once established will tolerate a egree of shade. The dark green foliage comprises elegantly pointed leaves which have a striking white blotch, edged pink forming intitially at the tip but by mid-summer covering up to half of each the eare of each leaf. Pink flowers are produced in small clusters in spring to early summer.

Like other Actinidia, for example A. chinensis, the 'kiwi fruit', Actinidia tetramera var maloides is vigorous, capabable of growing to 8m in height if unchecked - something that can be easily achieved with a hard prune in early spring.
