Bred from James Grieve and Golden Delicious in the 1960s, Red Falstaff is an excellent dessert apple, producing crisp, juicy apples in abundance. Belongs to flowering group 2 and is known to be a good out-pollinator for other nearby apples trees. Red Falstaff will crop quite late in October, the fruit keeping until the end of the year.
Plant Red Falstaff in full sun in moist, fertile soils. Final height on the MM106 root stock will be about 3 or 4m
