Black Mulberry. Spreading, rounded deciduous fruit tree. Will in time form a very handsome architectural tree, with historic associations as far back as the Tudors. The variety 'Wellington' is noted for large fruits and heavy crops. Red to dark purple fruit in late summer - very tasty indeed! Will grow best in full sun and a moist and rich soil. H+W 5-7m. Fully hardy.
