Sun-loving hardy perennial, producing masses of flattened deep reddish rose-pink flowers throughout summer, much loved by bees and butterflies. Cut back after the fist flush to encourage futher flowering. Plant in well drained soils. Fully hardy and growing to a height of about 60cm.
Achillea millefolium 'Rose Madder' should be cut back hard after the initial flowering in early summer to encourage a second flush of flowers in late summer. Much appreciated by bees. butterflies and other insects seeking pollen and nectar.
