Tall and strong herbaceous perennial for mid to rear border, in many respects a good complement to Delphiniums. Deeply lobed bright green leaves and spires of white flowers in summer. Very tolerant, prefering moister soils in partial shade but actually perfectly capable of doing well in dry shade as well, a very useful attribute.
Fully hardy, disease free and easy to grow. Aconitum napellus subsp, vulgare 'Albidum' will grow to about 1m and will form strong clumps within 2-3 seasons.

All parts of the plant are poisonous if eaten so we donít recommend this plant, or indeed any Aconitum for gardens where children are likely to play.
