Quite a rare clump-forming perennial, Dictamnus albus forms a stiffly upright clump with lemon-scented leaves and large, attractive, pink flowers in summer. Best planted in full and in well drained soils, after a few seasons it will grow into a very fine and garden-worthy plant The common name 'burning bush' refers to the fact that the spent flowers and ripened seed pods are so laden with aromatic oils that it is possible to easily set light to the plant - what a shame and not something we would recommend! Maximum height will be in theregion of 90cm. Fully hardy.
