Sun-loving hardy prennial, with soft grey-green and aromatic foliage. In summer Nepeta fasssenii 'Purple Haxe' produces copious small pinky-mauve flowers that will attract clouds of bees to the garden - it's one of those plants you can actually listeen, given the number of bees on a sunny day. Cut back hard in mid-summer to refresh the plant and to encourage a second, or more, display of flowers. It is also a good idea to cut the plant in early sping to clear away the debris from the previous year and to encourage luxuriant and fresh new growth. Plant in full sun and well drained soils.

Like all Nepta, 'Purple fully hardy. Can be readily propagated by cuttings which root very easily, or after 3-4 years, dig up an established plant and divide into several parts. Height and width: about60cm
