An impressive clump forming herbaceous perennial, flowering in May, ideal as an eye-catching focal point. Deep claret-red double flowers with yellow stamens, arguably the most richly coloured of all the lactiflora hybrid peonies. Prefers a little shade, or full sun and humus-rich soil. Take not to plant too deeply as Paeonias can resent that and be reluctant to flower. Paeonia 'Buckeye Belle', in common with all other peonies will apprecaite a good spring feed, for example with s mulch of well rotted manure. Fully hardy. Height and spread will be in the region of 70-80cm.
