A compact form of this very attractive upright shrub with grey stems and silver-grey heavily lobed leaves. Tubular violet-blue flowers in long panicles in late summer.
Prune Perovskia 'Little Spire' right back in mid-spring, encouraging a surge of new, flower-bearing stems in the summer. Fully hardy and best planted in well-drained soil in full sun. Height will be about 60cm, so significantly more compace than other varieties of russain sage, well suited to growing in a pot, or in massed plantings as an alternative to a lavender hedge, for example.
