A very dwarf Solomon's seal that grows wild in deciduous forests and in grasslands northeastern China, Japan, Korea and eastern Siberia. Oval, alternate leaves and in spring tubular white flowers hang from the leaf axils, followed by blue-black berries. Best suited to cooler woodland-type conditions, with a soil that is rich in organic matter such as leaf litter, cool, moist and in light to full shade.. Polygonatum humile is fully hardy. H: 15cm
