This is a lovely and charming species with long tapered dark green healthy leaves, single shell-shaped, ivory white flowers and profuse clusters of small transluscent dark red fruits persistent into December.
Plant Malus brevipes 'Wedding Bouquet' in full sun and in any reasonably fertile, moist and well drained soil. Perfect for a small garden, the final height will only be 5-6m, the flowers will attract bees whilst the autumn and winter display of fruit will be ideal for feeding the birds.
