Very pretty small ornamental tree. Deep red buds open to large deep pink flowers in spring. Glossy red fruit age to orange and persist deep into winter, ideal for feeding birds in the coldest weather. Purple-green foliage.

Malus 'Indian Magic will grow best in full sun and rich, reasonably moisture-retentive soil. Like all crab apple it is naturally compact and so ideal for smaller gardens. From time to time you could prune out any crowding or crossing over limbs, best done in late winter, but this is hardly obligatory. Indian Magic is fully hardy, robust and can be planted in exposed sites ifrequired. H:4m
