Prunus incisa 'The Bride' is a great choice for smaller gardens, forming a small, rounded, deciduous tree bearing large pure white, single flowers in spring, unusually marked with distinctive with a red central blush. Small enough to be planted in a flower border or even a large pot, as well as a stand-alone feature in the lawn, very tolerant of planting position and soil type. Interest is further extended with a dramatic display of autumn foliage colours, especially on more acid soil.

Prunus incisa 'The Bride', is one of the so-called Mount Fuji cherries, on account of their distribution in the wild being centred around Japan's most famous mountain. Prunus incisa never grow very large and so are well suited to smaller gardens, as well as offering 2 or 3 seasons on interest with its lovely flowering and foliage.

Prunus incisa 'The Bride' is fully hardy and will only grow to about 2m in height.
