Rare form of very upright mountain ash, or rowan tree. Clusters of white flowers in spring for the bees is only the first of this tree's many qualities. Autumn brings vivid foliage colours in golds, reds amd yellows, providing a dramatic backdrop for the bright yellow berries - great for the birds. Ideal for smaller gardens. Fully hardy and easy to grow, tolerating light shade or full sun and a wide range of soils, other than hopelessly water-logged.

Sorbus aucuparia 'Autumn Spire' will grow to about 4m in height but will only have a spread of about 1m.
